Shannon Allred Cox and her husband knew upon adopting their son from Haiti that life would never be the same. A short time later, with the help of others, they formed Haitian Roots, an organization which aims to educate Haitian orphans. Shannon talks about the how the Lord strengthens her in the work she does, notwithstanding the many challenges she and the children face.

Haitian Roots currently has three core programs with which you can become involved: sponsoring a child to go to school, supporting the work they do in their orphanage, and helping them build a school. This is a great organization doing great things. Check them out!
